We use the original Project X 6.0 as the benchmark and compare it against the newer Project X Red 6.0 series. The Red series is now making a more of an appearance into brands stock offerings, making it an interesting option for golfers looking at newer shaft technology. The shaft has been designed to be a lighter option compared to the original Project X profile, so we put it to the test to see how it performs against the classic model many golfers already know and love.

Both shafts are tested using a basic iron head with no added technology so the shaft can truly do the talking. Each setup is hit in the bay and we analyse the numbers to find out which is best for you!
