Having now visited Precision Golf on 3 occasions I have to say
the level of service was outstanding everytime. But more
importantly the consistency in my golf has without doubt improved
beyond all recognition.
The standard and speed of workmanship on my clubs has been
hugley impressive, and I would seriously recommend having your
driver reshafted and PUREd if you want to see longer straighter
drives on the fairway. Precsion Golf's success is based on
recommendations and in my case I had the chance to see the impact
the service had already made to my playing partner's driving.
Both James and Simon have real knowledge and will allways
provide impartial advice with no bias to certain manufacturers
(this is a common problem with custom fitting). I would return more
reguarly finances permitting.

I tracked down Precision Golf after having watched a program
about Pureing on the golf channel and I have to say that I am
hugely impressed with the results. Despite the fact that I was not
swinging that consistently Simon was able to confirm that the
Graffalloy shaft on my Driver was suitable for me but that it was
over-length. They didn't try to sell me something else but
suggested that I had the shaft shortened by 2 inches and "pured".
The difference is hugely impressive and my accuracy off the tee has
improved dramatically hitting approx 80% of fairways with an
additional 10-15 yards. I have subsequently had my TM 580 3-wood
treated to a Proforce V2 shaft after testing it proved that the
standard TM "stiff" shaft was actually more like
a regular with similarly impressive results. James'
workmanship is of the highest order and the advice that Simon
provides leaves you in no doubt that these guys know what they are
doing. If you are serious about the game and want the best out of
your equipment I cant recomend them highly enough.

I traveled 200 miles to visit Precision Golf and thoroughly
enjoyed the experience. It was fascinating for me watching James at
work and the early signs are that my iron play is getting more
consistent, with my shots going much straighter. James and Simon
are very friendly and provide an excellent service that I would
recommend to any keen golfer.

My previous experience of buying clubs was one of trial and
error to find the clubs right for me, four sets later I went to see
James and Simon at Precision Golf to get expert advice - having
discovered them through browsing the internet - and have my clubs
fitted to suit me, rather than the other way round. Like buying a
tailor-made suit it was time well spent to be measured up and the
shafts and grips selected, then precision fitted using the latest
in swing-weight and SST PURE technologies. An impressive
combination of hi-tech and human input to deliver clubs which I
don't have to worry about being right; it eliminated one major
reason why I kept changing and will save me money in the long run.
Now to get the handicap down, the ball striking is a lot
better.

I had never really been convinced about the merits of
custom-fitted golf clubs but, when you think about it, no two
golfers are the same, so it's obvious that if you buy a set of
clubs off the shelf the chances of them being right for you are
slim to non-existent - they may be too upright, too flat, too
heavy, too light, fitted with the wrong
shafts. My Precision Golf experience was a pure pleasure
- Simon and James are clearly enthusiasts and nothing was too much
trouble as they strived to find the ideal combination to suit my
game, settling for stunning Miura Golf heads, Lamkin grips and
Nippon Pro steel shafts. When I started playing with the irons
I noticed immediately that they gave me a consistency of
strike and ball flight that I've never experienced before. I am
also far more aware of where the club-head is during every part of
my swing. There is a misconception that custom-fitting will only
benefit professionals and top amateurs, but I have a handicap of 11
and am certain that, by the end of the year, I will be playing
off single figures. You may get by with a set of standard clubs,
but you will never know how good you could be.

Simon and James provided an extremely enjoyable and really
thorough fitting session. Having tried some manufacturers'
so-called custom club fitting sessions, to me Precision's real
advantage is not being tied to only one brand and so you get a
truly bespoke product. I had my driver re-shafted and have lost my
awful snap hook/pull off the tee so I am now as confident with my
driver as with any other club. I would be very keen to go back for
another session before upgrading my irons.

the software they have is excellent. Anyone with an analytical
mindset cannot help but be impressed by the range of information it

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and the
results. We re-shafted a set of irons that I had consigned to the
cellar with a longer, lighter SST Pured shaft. The result was a
better trajectory, with more consistent distance and less
dispersion. And a two stroke handicap adjustment.

through the door. Everything was explained to me, their time was my
time. My swing was assessed even complemented, the computer showed
which shafts would benefit me and I was not pushed towards the
dearest ones. My new shafts have made me much straighter and I look

I'm French, my handicap was 18. I have taken advantage of my
journey in UK to change my driver for a KZG Gemini 460 and to find
a good rescue. I spotted PRECISION GOLF (that I found on Internet,
and that was a good thing for me!). I have found a good listening
and the best advice. I have changed my 3 wood also for Sonartec
equipment. But where the advice was the most efficient, was on the
shaft. After the test you ran with me on the shop practice, we have
found the best solution for me with ACCRA Technology exactly
adapted to my game. One thing is sure now, when I will be willing
to change my irons series, I will go to PRECISION GOLF! Thank a lot

I have to say I found the whole experience very interesting and
I leant more about the game in that two hours than in the last 10
years.

I know it is early to offer feedback after just a couple of
sessions on the range and one round, but I have to say that the
Mizuno clubs that you fitted for me are absolutely superb. I
played at Foxhills on Friday and, although many of the landing
areas were narrow and even the light rough punishing, I felt I had
a degree of consistency from the clubs that I'd never had
before. I honestly believe they will make a difference to my
handicap of several strokes (in the right direction!) in the short
term. Everything Simon said to me about how the clubs would perform
- slightly heavier feel, slightly stiffer, more consistent - has
been absolutely borne out. On the 3-wood, Simon promised a
lower, more penetrative flight. That has proved totally
accurate. He promised more length with the driver.
Though my driving technique still needs a bit more consistency, I
hit some wonderful straight drives… longer than I've hit in the
past. So, one very satisfied customer. Anyone who expresses
scepticism about the value of proper custom-fitting in future will
meet with the lash of my tongue! Excellent. Well
done! Mind you, if it all goes pear-shaped in the next few
weeks, I'll blame you!

They say that "Diamonds are a girls best friend". Not for me.
The driver I had fitted by Precision Golf is my best friend. Even
after a hiatus from golf of 3 months, I picked up my driver and it
was like I'd never been away. James & Simon have done a great
job of fitting my driver to my swing.
