TaylorMade Product Information
R11 Driver - The latest, multi-adjustable
driver from Taylor Made. Plenty of alterations of face angle, loft
and weight positioning and a distinctive white paint finish.
Mid-launch and low spin, a very playable head with a good distance
profile too. Available in a TP model also.
R11 Fairway Woods - The same adjustable
characteristics as the R11 Driver with a good mid-launch and
mid/low spin flight. Quite a user-friendly head and is surprisingly
forgiving too. Also with a white paint finish this is a good club
for many players wanting a stronger playing club. Again, also
available in a TP model.
Rescue 2011 - An updated version of the Rescue
'09 and has a slightly stronger flight profile than the previous
head. Uses the adjustable hosel settings as with the driver and
fairway woods and is a very versatile head.
Tour Preferred MB, MC and CB irons - The new
forged irons from Taylor Made with the ability to blend the sets to
form the ideal combination. The CB has a cut-away cavity in the
back for extra forgiveness and a slightly higher launch. The MC is
a muscle cavity, more forgiving than a blade but still gives a
solid, controllable ball flight with a very clean look. The MB is
the full blade model, very controllable but unforgiving and also
has very clean lines. All models have an adjustable weight in the
back to alter the balance of the club to suit the player.
Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver - Designed around a
lighter weight for maximum speed and distance. The head has a deep
CG to promote mid to high launch but with a low spin rate. The
standard model promotes more of a draw bias and the TP model with a
square face and slightly lower flight. Very stable and forgiving
but a long hitting club. Also uses the white paint on the
crown.
Burner Superfast 2.0 Fairway Wood - very
similar characteristics to the driver head in a higher launch and
low spin head. Very forgiving with the draw bias in the standard
model and the TP with a square face and neutral profile with a
white crown as with all the other Taylor Made woods. A good
development of the previous Burner Superfast model.
Burner Superfast 2.0 Hybrid - Very forgiving
and user-friendly with a similar higher launch, lower spin profile
to the driver and fairway woods. Light weight and longer shaft
length promotes distance. The flat sole helps the head sit cleanly
behind the ball and allows a clean contact on the ball with the
more wood-like profile helping the ball flight. A TP model is also
available.
Taylor Made Burner 2.0 irons - A thinner face
to the irons increases ball speed off the club and the centre of
mass has been located differently in each iron through the set to
promote more forgiveness in the long irons and more control in the
short irons, with the aim of creating optimal performance in each
part of the set.
