Digital Frequency Analysis

Digital Frequency Analysis The flex of a club is a much finer measurement than just a letter on its shaft. To allow us to analyse and hand build equipment to more exacting specifications, we use the FCM Rifle Scale of Frequency which involves measuring the oscillation speed or cycles per minute (CPM) of the shaft when a club is clamped by the grip in relation to its length. Plotting this on our rifle frequency chart gives us a numerical scale of stiffness allowing us to measure flex to one tenth of a flex range, this is the only true way to accurately compare flex within a set and from different manufacturers.
